Literal meaning means a simple meaning, a direct meaning or it is a meaning without figurative meaning.
“Do not infest your mind with the beating of this strange business”
I think the literal meaning is Do not worry about this what has happened.
The metaphor in this are infest, beating, strange business.
How does Shakespeare present Prospero at the end of the play:
Shakespeare presents Prospero at the end of the planet by saying he is trying to be kind and forgiving to everyone and everything they have done to him. Also he wants to be free and get off this island as he says “Let your indulgence we me free” which means let your pardon set me free of his punishment. Which is he being stuck on the island forever. Also this could mean he wants to go home.

This plan looks interesting and original.
One thing I want to warn you to be careful about, is moving too far away from the question – which is about whether text- and spoken communication is a highly creative language form.
I suggest that you start each paragraph with a topic sentence that explains how the ideas that you’re going to explain are evidence of creativity: whether it’s through creative solutions to the brevity of texts or the way each way of communicating adapts devices from the other.
By all means have a go at some practise open sentences to see if you can get this into the right language.
