In this scene the charcters prospero and ferdinand talk about how propero tested ferdinand to see how much he loved miranda and how he pasted. I know this because he says ‘All thy vexations were but myy trials of thy love, an d thou hast strangely stood the test’ This means ,in modern english, that this were trials of ferdinand`s love to miranda.
